Toronto creatives have teamed up for this moving video in support of the message: Black Lives Matter.
“The video is a tribute to the ideology behind Black Lives Matter, and puts the faces of the people who are affected by it at the forefront. We wanted to create something with a positive message in the midst of the negativity that’s all over the news lately. We’ve shot a large number of cameos of people in the community who represent the importance of the message: Black Lives Matter.” Says producer Iva Golubovic.
The Audio for the video was recorded at Dream House Studios and was mixed/mastered by Jordan Evans. The song is a jazz rendition of Strange Fruit and Alright which is performed by Zahra Benthan accompanied by a band of local artists.
