The Gooderham Flatiron Building at No 49 Wellington Street East in Toronto Ontario was built by George Gooderham in 1891. The four and a half storey red brick building was constructed at a cost of $18,000 and predates New York more famous Flatiron building by 10 years and was declared a historic site under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1975.
