Akeria came to us from another shelter. He was very nervous when he first arrived and is still learning how to trust humans. He is a gentle cat and would prefer to freeze or flee as opposed to being aggressive when he is fearful. One of the ways we are showing him how friendly we are is by pairing every interaction with food. Akeria is a great eater and has started to emerge from his hiding place for food. Akeria’s ideal home would be able to provide him with the time and patience that he needs to feel comfortable and confident.
