Vintage Images from Toronto’s beginnings

The City of Toronto was incorporated on March 6th 1834. For this post, I have gathered a series of images from the years around its inception, as well as some photos from previous celebrations of its anniversary.

The first image, is a creative rendering of the City of Toronto in 1834 created for the centennial in 1934 by E.G.A. Foster.
