Best Bingo in Toronto

Toronto is a metropolitan city best known for its unique landmarks, multiculturalism, and the Raptors. When the word gambling enters any discussion, Canadians hardly link the country’s most populous city with wagering on sports or games of chance. Nevertheless, it is home to four commercial casinos and five charitable ones. Moreover, the province of Ontario permits slot machines at racetracks, and since August 27, 2021, its retail operators can accept single-game wagers. Online sports betting is looking to launch in Ontario in April 2022.

However, one gambling genre that has been a cause for controversies in this province has been bingo. It is a game favoured by seniors all over the globe. The same holds for Toronto’s elderly, who caused quite the uproar in 2016 when Ontario officials looked to close a loophole that would stop community centres from offering this entertainment form, as the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario considers it a lottery. Thus, anyone offering it must pay a licensing fee and adhere to provincial regulations.

Thankfully, there are multiple bingo parlours in Toronto, and its greater area, where lotto fans can partake in this hobby legally. Naturally, online bingo games are always an option. Still, those who want to experience the social aspect that this gambling genre provides should visit one of the following five establishments.

Delta Bingo & Gaming

Delta Bingo & Gaming is a family-owned business that has been active in this sphere for over five decades. They currently have halls in twenty-five locations spread throughout North America, supporting more than 950 local charities. The gambling products they supply range from Vegas-style slots to offline and online bingo games. Delta has two locales in Toronto. One can get found at 1799 St Clair Avenue West, and the other at 1868 Wilson Avenue. They are both open every day of the week, from 10 AM to 1 AM/ 2 AM, depending on the day in question. These are classy and clean joints that decoration-wise fall in line with other Delta establishments staying faithful to the brand.

Dolphin Gaming

Dolphin Gaming at 1911 Eglinton Ave East, in Scarborough, is without a doubt the most visited bingo venue in the greater Toronto area. In every sense, it is a more modern property than Delta’s Toronto locales, rightfully advertising itself as the go-to-spot for gaming entertainment in the city. Aside from bingo, which requires that interested parties arrive thirty minutes before a session starts. Dolphin Gaming also hosts dozens of reel-spinners, which it calls Tap N Play machines. There are even progressive ones on Dolphin’s floor. They are devices that tie into a network, where all the losing bets players make accumulate into a single pot that gets paid to the lucky gambler that hits the desired symbol combo. Dolphin Gaming opens and closes its doors at 8 AM and 4 AM, respectively.

Rama Gaming House

Rama’ Gaming’s entertainment area stretches 30,000 square feet, as this high-quality establishment on 991 Kennedy Rd in Scarborough features an impeccable reputation, often praised for its novel machines and premium service. Aside from bingo draws, Rama Gaming House features somewhere in the neighbourhood of four hundred slots, multiple billiards and ping pong tables, and a terrific cocktail bar with a massive TV screen. Note that this venue continuously runs special event promotions. Many of these focus on giving away free-play funds for slot gameplay-only.

Ultimate Bingo

Ultimate Bingo in North York, one of the six administrative districts of Toronto, claims to supply the best bingo fun in Ontario, and they may be correct in their self-assessment, as the cash prizes here can go up to $20,000. Ultimate is a family-owned charity bingo hall, active since 2003, at 5601 Steeles Ave W Unit 9. Sessions here occur every day at 1 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM, and 10 PM. There is free on-site parking here, and multiple ATMs get sprawled across the entire hall. Nearby attractions include Vaughan Mall and McMichael’s Art Museum.

Bingo World and Gaming

Located in Richmond Hill, on 350 Newkirk Road, Bingo World and Gaming is a hall that works with ninety non-for-profit York organizations. In its vast list of partners, patrons will find groups like Autism Ontario and DeafBlind Ontario Services. From 2013 on, Bingo World has helped local non-for-profits raise over $15 million. Their property in Richmond Hill has good old-fashioned paper bingo, the electronic version, and slot machines. It is also a decent place for anyone to grab a bite to eat, as it offers food and beverage service. Those that visit this spot during the day can take a break to see the Saigeon Trail ecological park a couple of miles away or the Richmond Green Sports Center and Park. Both have lush green plants and other soothing nature.
