Jagger the cat is looking for a new home in the Toronto area

Jagger is a shy and sensitive sweetheart who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. He spends most of his time curled up in his hidey spot or perched quietly in his cat tree, taking in his surroundings from a distance. While he may appear withdrawn at first, Jagger is doing his best to trust – and he’s made some lovely, subtle progress in the presence of calm, patient company.

With a soft voice, time, and a non-invasive presence, Jagger begins to show his quieter side. He’s sniffed treats, gently leaned into a head scratch, and perked up for a bit of catnip. When things feel right, he’ll sometimes lift his bum ever so slightly for more petting – a tender sign of trust from a cat who’s still finding his way.

Jagger is looking for someone who understands that connection doesn’t always come quickly – someone who’s willing to sit nearby, read a book, speak softly, or just exist gently in his space until he feels safe enough to come closer.

He would do well in a cozy environment with safe hiding places, predictable routines, and plenty of love offered on his terms to help him continue to blossom.

Jagger has so much potential to be a quiet, loyal companion and build a strong bond with his new owner.
