New Music Videos from Local Recording Artists

I get a lot of local music videos sent to me in press releases and I want to start sharing more of them with our readers. Here are a few highlights from the past few months. Let us know if anything new comes out that we should share.

Arkells played two shows at Massey Hall this past weekend in Toronto. This video for My Heart’s Always Yours is another song from their Auguest 2016 album Morning Report. The video was directed by Alyssa Pankiw from The Young Astronauts media company in Toronto.

The Balconies 2nd music video from their album RHONDA is MONEY, MONEY directed by Sasha Golomb Avramov. Members of the band also make up part the band The Cola Heads who also has a video out by Avramov.

Keysha Freshh, Lex Leosis, Haviah Mighty, Phoenix Pagliacci – Undun

Four rappers pay respect to their own hip-hop greats that were influential in their styles. The video is shot at Kops record store in Toronto.

Alessia Cara – How Far I’ll Go

This Brampton singer is having an incredible year. This latest video is for a song written by Lin-Manuel Miranda that she sings for the upcoming Disney 3D movie Moana.

Babylon Warchild – City of Dreams Ft. Citizen Kane
Album: War Journals

Video: Devin Lund and Joel Levy

Toronto Hip Hop group Babylon Warchild released their video for the song City of Dreams off of the War Journals album that came out at the end of the summer. The video features Citizen Kane as well as BW members Unknown Mizery, KDB, Legit and Rumplestiltz.
