About Joan Crate
Joan Crate is a poet and novelist who taught English, Children’s Literature, Creative Writing, and Native Literature at Red Deer College, Alberta, for over twenty years. Her poem “I am a Prophet” from the collection Pale as Real Ladies: Poems for Pauline Johnson recently took part in U2’s concert in Vancouver.
