<p>Chef Armand Arnal of Maman Toronto sent us these great tartinette recipes that are perfect for your next home gathering. Grab a baguette and top them with these easy to make ingredients for some tasty treats.</p>
<p>Maman Toronto is a french café and bakery located inside the First Canadian Place building in the financial district.</p>
<p><strong>Jambon de Bayonne with Sundried Tomato</strong><br />
Yields 10 pieces</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>
<p>• ½ Loaf of Baguette Bread<br />
• 10 Slices of Jambon de Bayonne<br />
• 6 Tbps of Sundried Tomatoes<br />
• 1 Garlic Clove<br />
• Olive Oil</p>
<p><strong>Method</strong></p>
<p>Rub the outside of the bread with the garlic clove.<br />
Slice baguette into 10 slices (0.5 inch) and drizzle each slice with olive oil.<br />
Toast one side in the oven for 2-3 minutes.<br />
Place sundried tomatoes on each slice of toast.<br />
Top each slice of toast with a slice of Jambon de Bayonne.</p>
<p><strong>Maman’s Roasted Cauliflower with Aged Cheddar</strong><br />
Yields 10 pieces</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong></p>
<p>• ½ Loaf of Baguette Bread<br />
• Olive Oil<br />
• 1 Garlic Clove<br />
• 1/3 of a Medium-sized Cauliflower Head<br />
• 2 Tsp of Butter<br />
• Salt and Pepper<br />
• Savora mustard<br />
• 10 slices of 2-year old cheddar</p>
<p><strong>Method</strong></p>
<p>-Preheat oven to 400°F.<br />
-Rub the garlic clove on the outer crust of the baguette.<br />
-Slice the bread into 10 slices (not too thin).<br />
-Drizzle each slice with olive oil and toast one side for 2 to 3 minutes in the oven.</p>
<p>-Steam the cauliflower for 10 minutes and cut florets from head.<br />
-Combine butter, steamed cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste in a baking dish.<br />
-Put the dish in the oven at 400°F for 10 other minutes.<br />
-Assemble by spread some Savora mustard on a slice of toast, roasted cauliflower and top with a slide of cheddar.</p>
